Coalesce

The birds of fall
Heed an instinctive call
To flock and fly
And fill the sky

Their vast murmutations
Are aerial sensations
With coordinated flow
No matter how big they grow.

They visit my lawn
And then they’re gone.
All done with breeding
Gone south for feeding.
